Welcome to Human Interference. We do not often associate human interference with air traffic control. Through this book, I would like to take you on a trip through the future of the National Airspace System as the advances in technology starts spinning the system out of control. As you read please remember it is a novel. While there is truth mixed in amongst the barrage of story creation, our system is still the safest in the world. As a private pilot and a retired air traffic controller I am confident in its operations and will continue to fly.
I am a strong advocate for technical advances in air traffic and look forward to what the future holds. That said, as with anything of this magnitude where safety is an issue, we need to use caution in implementing new programs before their time.

Congrats Don! Cant’t wait to read it!
I only have a day to wait!
Don, I was in Ohio yesterday and my good friend L. D. Flory gave me a singed copy of your novel to read. He also showed me where you hit his dads mail box with the wing of you airplane. I have just start reading the book. It seems to be very well done.
And oh yes, did you ever live in Kansas?
I did live in Kansas somewhere around the 1969-1970. It did leave a lasting impression as you will find some familiar geographical locations in the book. As far as the airplane clipping the mailbox story, we’ll save that one for another day. Let’s just say 19 year old boys do stupid things. Good news is, I had a future airline pilot riding the wing when I did it. Enjoy the book.
